Customer Facing SLO

The SLO which forms the basis for the agreed cluster SLA for Managed Openshift customers.

We’ve tested this SLO for a while, but there might still be intermittent false positive alerts.

The long-term data in our central metrics storage doesn’t show any false positives, but there were a number of short-lived alerts sent directly from clusters during the initial testing phase. Unfortunately, none of these alerts were recent enough to determine why they were triggered, since we don’t have very high metrics retentions on the clusters.

Despite this, we feel that the SLO is good enough to remove the explicit BETA label.

Cluster Ingress

This SLI is a combination of the Ingress Canary and OpenShift Ingress HAProxy metrics.

Every three minutes without a successful canary request and without a successful request to customer ingress backends is counted to the error budget.
