OpenShift4 Logging

openshift4-logging is a Commodore component to manage OpenShift4 Logging. It installs the cluster logging operator and the corresponding ClusterLogging instance.

The component depends on component openshift4-operators to manage the cluster-scoped subscription for the official RedHat Elasticsearch Operator.

Node Selector

This components assumes dedicated infra nodes are used. The component further assumes the existence of an app node role. The main workload is configured to run on infra nodes. Collection of logs will take place on all nodes (worker and master).

Ensure that the target cluster does have nodes with the infra role label set. See the components defaults for the exact value.
