Upgrade from 5.x to 6.x
This guide describes the steps to perform an upgrade of the component from version 5.x to 6.x.
Introduction
This release is safe transition version changing the leader elections from configmaps to the Lease API.
The Ingress NGINX Controller applied in the component version 5 can automatically complete the merging of election locks, and then you can safely upgrade to the component version 6.
